The company was founded in 1950 and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee with manufacturing facilities in the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Thailand and Turkey.

Reinforcing 1 out of every 3 automobile tires and 2 out of every 3 aircraft tires in the world with its tire reinforcement technologies, Kordsa is now in a position to reinforce landing tracks of those aircrafts with its construction reinforcement technologies, and aircraft fuselage, engine and wings with its composite technologies.


Quality was (and still is) an important part of Kordsa USA operating in Chattanooga Tennessee. Company was complying with varies standards and ISO is one of them. Compliance was taking place on office paper and varies office software products depends on a task or activity. Information was simply scattered in different departments and team members. Quality document management, customer complaint management, Corrective and Preventive Action and other compliance related tasks were being executed in different environment. The challenge was to have access to an integrated business platform that includes all the assignments, tasks and activities regarding ISO and regulation compliance processes.


QDMS: Quality, Risk and Compliance Management Software was deployed to address daily-basis and complex operational activities for compliance. The software is web based and is accessible anywhere as long as there is internet connection and a regular internet browser. QDMS solution provides a very flexible environment that can be further configured as needed to support the changing regulatory environment and increased sophistication of the user base as the industry continues to mature and consolidate.
